Missing the smell of the morning mist and the perfect "click" of the oarlock? It’s time to get back in the swing of things!
Rocky Mountain Rowing Club (RMRC) invites you to our Return to Rowing Day, a special event inspired by USRowing’s national initiative. We’ve designed this day specifically for experienced rowers who have taken a break and are looking for a low-pressure, high-energy way to reconnect with the water.
Whether it’s been two years or twenty since your last piece, come join us for a morning of camaraderie, nostalgia, and that unmistakable feeling of a shell gliding through the water.
Event Details
The Row: Enjoy 60–75 minutes on the water in 8s. We provide the equipment, a volunteer coxswain to steer the course, and coaching launches to ensure a smooth, safe ride.
The Social: After we dock, join us for a post-row breakfast featuring fresh bagels and hot coffee. It’s the perfect time to swap stories and meet the local rowing community.
The Cause: This isn’t just about getting back in the boat—it’s about giving back. All proceeds from the event support Mile High Rowing Club (MHRC), helping provide rowing opportunities for youth across the Denver Metro Area.

On the last Sunday of every month, all RMRC members are invited down for community rows. Meet at 7:30am for mixed lineups across all experience levels. The purpose is to build connection across the RMRC community, row with your mentee / mentor, and to meet someone new! Optional post-row breakfast social, potluck style so bring something to share!
Meet at 7:30am, off water by 9:00am with optional potluck breakfast social to follow. This is an RMRC member event.
RMRC Pride Row
In recognition of June being LGBTQA+ Pride Month, all RMRC members are invited to participate in a fun and casual “Pride Row” on Sunday, June 6th at 7:30 am, followed by an optional potluck brunch (you can bring whatever food or drink items you want - or just bring yourself!).
Wear your favorite Pride attire and be ready to have some fun! More details coming soon.

Grand Lake Weekend
Mark your calendars for for one of RMRC’s favorite traditions—a fun-filled weekend rowing adventure on beautiful Grand Lake! It’s an unforgettable weekend of great water, great company, and great memories. Each morning we start with an early AM row where RMRC members can take a spin or two around the lake. Then spend the day enjoying the nearby parks, hiking, beach or Rocky Mountain National Park. In the evenings we typically have a team gathering for all. We will be trailering boats this year.
