Aaron Varcasio

I started rowing in 1997 for Burnt Hills Rowing Association (High School), I later attended Curry College where I had to start up my own club in order to row for the College where I rowed at Community Rowing Incorporated. I then transferred to SUNY Oswego where I was a Captain/Coach, and rower for the Men’s Club. After college I rowed for Angry Fish Rowing in Albany, NY. Also I coached a learn to row program during the summer of 2006 at BHRA.  In 2007 I joined Albany Rowing Center and rowed with the competitive Master’s Program. I was an Assistant Master’s Coach for ARC for one season.

Besides being a coach at RMRC, I am Owner/Personal Trainer of Varcasio Fitness in Arvada.  I preach what I practice, and will make a plan to make you a better rower and all around individual.

Scott Noble - Novice Sculling Coach

"I have been rowing with RMRC since 1996, after learning to row at Lancaster University in England. My person favorite rowing experiences involve boats with two oars - singles and pairs. I find the technical challenge and immediate feedback of these boats to be enormously rewarding. I enjoy all types of rowing races, and particularly the mental and tactical elements of head racing. I have previously taught many beginner lesson as well as coached the Intermediate program at RMRC. My goal for the summer will be to expose beginners to singles as much as possible, building technical capability and confidence."
