Novice Coached Program
The Novice Coached Program is a beginning rowing program, geared toward individuals who have completed Learn-to-Row sessions with RMRC (Registration by individuals who have participated in LTR programs elsewhere and do NOT have subsequent rowing experience needs to be brought to the attention of the coaches.) Novices will solidify knowledge of rowing safety, boat handling and usage while working on skill advancement in sweep rowing and sculling. As the season progresses, the novice rowers will gain more autonomy during coached sessions.
The Novice Coached program begins Wednesday, June 1st. Novices will practice on Wednesdays (sweep focus) and Thursdays (sculling focus) from 5:45 - 7:15 in the morning. Eamon Callison will head up the sweep portion, while Scott Noble will coach the sculling focus days.
All non-collegiate coached programs cost $180 for the 2011 season.
